Baseball Australia honours two Victorians

The formal dinner and presentation took place in Adelaide on Saturday night, when the who’s who of Australian baseball turned out to recognise and to honour significant contributions made to the sport.
Formerly Chairman of Baseball Victoria for twenty years - and a person with nearly fifty years of involvement in baseball - Peter Dihm was presented with a Baseball Australia Award of Distinction in recognition of his contribution to development of the game as a player and administrator.
Former outstanding player and Olympian, a Waverley Baseball Club Life Member, multiple award winner, Club Coach and current Assistant Coach, David Clarkson was formally inducted into the Baseball Australia Hall of Fame, joining the list of distinguished players who have set the highest possible standards as competitors and ambassadors for the sport in this country.
Baseball Victoria extends its warm congratulations to both men on achieving these well-earned accolades for their magnificent contribution to Australian baseball.
