Club Help website
The Club Help website is endorsed by Baseball Victoria as its club development program covering Baseball Victoria's Best Practice Guidelines in the areas of club operations, financial management, participation programs, volunteer management, coaching and officiating, player development, community engagement, facility development and the environment.
The Club Help website provides online assessments, tools, resources, workshops and training, and qualifications clubs and associations need to achieve best practice in the management and operation of their club.
Baseball Victoria encourages all Clubs and Associations to undertake the "Club Assessment" in all categories ensure long-term growth and sustainability.
The Club Help website objectives are to:
- Enable a club or association to undertake an assessment on a key operation.
- Provide a tailored report based on your responses from the assessment.
- Take action to address the recommendations within your report to foster best practise in club management and development.
Does my Club have to participate?
No - BUT!
The assessment will provide an honest report and list of actions that will benefit your club/association and the sport in general. It will provide a qualification of your current capacity and ability to meet regulartory requirements.
Undertaking the assessments will ensure existing and new club members receive a quality experience when they join a club and will develop a sense of community with all key stakeholders.
Why should my Club participate?
The encouragement to use the website looks to improve the level of management and development of all Clubs and Leagues.
The Clubs and Leagues are the shop front for our sport. The sport therefore requires all Clubs and Associations to be sound in their operation and present a 'great' advertisement for Baseball.
