The sport of baseball, and its modified version - Tee Ball - involves an integration of several of the Fundamental Motor Skills, particularly the catch, overhand throw and the two-handed side-arm strike. Hence, Baseball Victoria programs offer participants a quality hands-on baseball experience that also compliments the school's existing physical education program.

School Clinics

School clinics for primary (Aussie T-Ball) and secondary (Baseball) students are based on progressive games that are fun and that encourage skill development. Teeball and Baseball Practice

For those schools preparing a class or team to participate in a competition, Baseball Victoria can develop a specific practice program that teaches and develops students in order to improve to enable them to shine. Part of this could include an emphasis on talent identification, skill development as well as progressive games that are fun.

Inclusive Programs

Baseball Victoria is committed to working with groups with special needs. We will tailor programs that encourage participation by all in modified games and skill development activities in a fun and safe environment.

Umpiring

Baseball Victoria can organise the appointment of skilled umpires to officiate Teeball and Baseball intra and inter-school games and competitions, including official SSV competitions. Demand for umpires is high so please use the Umpire Booking Form to ensure our assistance is provided at your preferred times.

Teacher Inservicing

Aimed at giving teachers a chance to experience Baseball and Teeball in a fun and social environment. It is great for team-building and rewarding that promotes good health and physical activity, or it can be structured so that teachers can develop their own skills so they can continue Teeball and baseball activities independently.

Coaching Education and Accreditation

Within the National Coaching Accreditation scheme, workshops and testing are aimed at all levels of coaches. A qualification in baseball coaching can provide you and your school with a real point of difference.

Presentations

Boasting availability of players with Major League and international experience, Baseball Victoria can provide your school with a player or coach that can attend presentations or ceremonies at your school.
