State Winter Championships
Baseball in Victoria is played within two seasons - Summer and Winter.
The winter competitions and activities are conducted during the months between April and September. Regionally based Leagues and Associations have the direct authority over the competitions conducted within the winter season within their local areas, with BV providing umbrella support to other baseball activities, such as development and high performance programs.
Competition matches are generally played within both the metropolitan areas of Melbourne and some regional centres around Victoria, including Mildura and Sunraysia, Albury and North East Victoria, Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong and Latrobe Valley.
