Little League in Victoria

Welcome to: www.baseballvictoria.com.au/littleleague

Like few other sports, baseball teaches that failure does not necessarily mean defeat. After a strikeout, there is always another at-bat, whether it is later in the game, in the next game, or in the next season. It teaches that EVERYONE gets another chance to prove themselves.

Since its beginning in 1939, Little League Baseball International has helped to instill the core values of character, courage, and loyalty in several of today's most influential leaders.

in 2008, the ABF entered into an agreement with Little League International, meaning the world's largest organised sporting group now has Australia as part of their network, which includes the USA, China, Belarus, Vietnam, Jordan, Trinidad, New Zealand, Poland, Argentina, and Canada. Children from widely divergent backgrounds share the common bonds of Little League, and learn the values of inclusive, teamwork and clean competition.

The Little League concept is based around growing and rewarding community baseball. Each community association or region would create and run their own Little League competition.
