Baseball Victoria is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2020 Victorian Youth Women’s and Women’s State Team Tryouts. Victoria will send a Youth Women’s Team to the Australian Youth Women’s Championships and a Blue and White team to the Australian Women’s Championships from 10-17 April 2020 in Canberra.
This is a fantastic opportunity offered through the Baseball Victoria Development Pathway that gives female players the chance to compete at a high level while representing their state.
Tryouts for the Youth Women’s and Women’s State Teams are set for the following dates:
Saturday, 14 December at Springvale Baseball Club 9am – 11am
Tuesday, December 17 at Melbourne Ballpark 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Saturday, December 21 at Springvale Baseball Club 9am – 11am
Baseball Victoria Talent Development Manager Damian Shanahan will be joined by women’s head coaches Dean Anglin (Blue) and Ursula Howard (White) at the tryouts. All athletes wishing to participate in the tryouts MUST register via TeamApp beforehand.
